Iroquois students and staff were lucky to meet "Lucky," the buffalo bottle calf yesterday afternoon. Thank you to Steve Hein and his granddaughters Kaylee, Miley and Maci, Iroquois students, for bringing him to school for us to meet!
The 4-H State Coordinator is looking for host homes for students from Japan for about a month in the summer. The students will arrive July 22nd and depart on August 17th. Happy Teacher Appreciation Week!!! Elementary student council made "You are PASTA-TIVELY Amazing" bags for elementary staff. Each bag included spaghetti, sauce, french bread and a brownie mix, so they could enjoy a quick easy meal with their families.

Kingsbury County Sheriff Deputies came to the school today to fingerprint all the kindergarteners. The fingerprint forms were sent home for the parents.

The Beadle County Conservation District came and visited with the 3rd grade class this afternoon. They each received a tree to bring home and plant.

Iroquois school participated in the statewide tornado drill this morning. Each class has a designated area they go to in the case of an actual tornado.
