Wednesday, May 19, 2021 has been proclaimed by Governor Noem as Richard Soma Day in South Dakota. There will be a “Surprise” assembly at the school in the south gym at 8:20 am on Wednesday, May 19th to honor Mr Soma. The public is invited. Please use south entrance.

Class of 2021 Senior Walk Through. Our Seniors dressed in their caps & gowns paraded through the school while their fellow classmates cheered them on. Congrats Seniors!!!

Midwest Elite Basketball Camp registration forms are going out today for student entering grades 7-12 next year. Please return the forms to Mr. Nolte by May 19.
Also students entering grades 1-6 your Little Chiefs Basketball Camp forms are due by May 14.

Buy One get One Free Book Fair begins next Monday (4/26) in the High School FACS room. Books will be available for purchase Mon-Thurs (8am-5:30pm).

Congrats to the FCCLA Members who presented at the State Convention. The results are the following:
Kasey Burmeister received a silver for her Food Innovations project.
Kali Burma received a GOLD for her repurpose and redesign project.
Lily Blue, Lexi Burma, and Sarah Nelson received a silver rating for their Chapter Service Project Display presentation.

PROM tonight in Iroquois. Open to public with NO restrictions. Masks are not required but may be worn at your discretion. Grand March begins at 9:00 pm. We would ask all public to leave PROMPLTY after grand march. Thanks for your assistance. GO CHIEFS!!

Results from the pop tab war are in. 90 total pounds were collected.
5th grade collected the most with 29 pounds.
2nd grade come in close second with 25 pounds.
Both classes will get an ice cream treat next week, probably Thursday afternoon.
The other totals are:
PK with 2 pounds
1st Grade with 4 pounds
3rd Grade with 4 pounds
4th Grade with 9 pounds
Kindergarten with 17 Pounds
