Fourth graders, Meredith & Jonathan, have been busy reading for the read-a-thon! They are the first two students to reach the 350-minute goal to receive their coupon for "Lunch with Mr. Ruth!!!" Who else will be joining Mr. Ruth for lunch?!? Continue logging your minutes through October 20th to reach your minute goals!

High School Iroquois FCCLA members attended Teens as Teachers training in Abderdeen. Teens as Teachers is a program put on by the South Dakota Youth Foundation.

Two fifth grade students, Pieper and Paisley presented their Dr Seuss Reader's Theatre to the preschool class this morning. They have been practicing with Ms. Bratland-Bruns and were as excited to present it as the preschoolers were to listen to it!

5th/6th grade Girls Basketball starts TONIGHT! Practice is from 6:00-7:30 in IR. It will be in the South gym.

Please help register your child for the Read-A-Thon this weekend so they can start logging their minutes on Sunday and win prizes!!! Below is a list of the prizes and also how to register if you misplaced your registration paper. Each class has a separate registration sheet. Ask your child's teacher or Mrs. Burma if you have any questions.

Kindergartener Ellianna brought pumpkins yesterday to share with her class that she grew with her grandpa. They had so much fun painting them! Thank you Ellianna and Grandpa!!

Students have completed their 2nd puzzle of the year in the high school library makers space.

**5th and 6th Grade Parents** Today we are sending information home regarding 5th-6th grade basketball (both boys and girls) Please return the slip back to the office filled out with your information if your student is interested, or you can call the school. Go Sharks!

Iroquois HC is TODAY. Shark FB v SBA @ 7:00 pm. JHFB v Hitchcock-Tulare at 4:00 pm. It is Senior Night also. Senior FB Parents: Senior Night announcements will be made prior to the starting lineups. We will gather on the home side of the field at the 50 yard line about 6:40. GO SHARKS!!

Ag Leadership class spent more time with the younger kids today during lunch and lunch recess. They all had a blast!

If you walk down the elementary hall today you will see red, white and blue everywhere! America Day!!!

Some of the SHARK Football Cheerleaders taught the elementary students some of the cheers they will be cheering at the Homecoming football game on Friday night so they can cheer loud and proud with them! The cheerleaders will have temporary tattoos, Shark stickers and pom poms for sale at the game!

Students and staff had fun dressing up for decade day in the elementary today!
