Third grade students received their dictionaries from the Bensley-Rounds American Legion Auxiliary Post 280 yesterday.

Elementary dress up days are announced for September 16th-20th. Please note...some of the elementary dress up days are different than the middle school/high school this year.

A couple of JH sports scheduling updates: JH FB on 9/16 has been moved to Elkton, it was originally in Desmet. Still 4:00 start time JH VB on 10/15 has been rescheduled to 10/7, with a 4:00/5:00 start time. There will still be JV/V on the 15th - with JV starting at 6:15. JUST THE JH MOVED DATES! Have a fantastic weekend!

A little thunderstorm came through Iroquois yesterday while PK & Kindergarten were at recess. So they cut outside recess short and finished up recess inside! They had so much fun!

The first puzzle of the season has been completed in the MS/HS Library! Last year the students completed 13 puzzles. Can they beat that this year!?

Good afternoon, With the heat, humidity, and severe weather outlook, we will run split practices today at each school. There will be no competitive cheer invite in Dell Rapids and NO PRACTICE. There will be no JH Football game in DeSmet and NO PRACTICE. Football and volleyball will hold split practices in Iroquois and Lake Preston. Please make sure to watch the weather and communicate on Sportsyou about practices and make sure to wrap them up early. If you have any questions, please reach out. GO SHARKS!!
